Last week I visited my friend and co-conspirator, Tom Robinson, at his state-of-the-art hide photography operation in Lincolnshire (www.wildlifehides.co.uk). It’s been raining quite a lot over the last week and Tom told me that he’d had quite a few cancellations as a result. This amazed me as, like many professional wildlife photographers, I usually prefer the soft light of an overcast day to bright sunshine.
